- Students will practice with a broad variety of data and assignments
Upon completion of the Basic Imagery Analysis Course (BIAC) the student is a level-3 junior Imagery Analyst.
BIAC graduates are a valued addition to any IMINT team because he/she
- is able to identify the function and operational status for most types of "installations of interest" and the "facilities" they comprise
- is proficient in the reporting of activity and defences on/near installations of interest
- is able to report and present findings by making (standardized) textual and/or graphic intelligence products
- knows how to prioritize reporting of critical elements when constrained by time
- knows how to use advanced geospatial Imagery Analysis applications to extract important information from georeferenced imagery metadata
- is able to work independently, under supervision of a senior (level-4) Imagery Analyst
- is aware of his/her function in the "ISR cycle" and has been introduced to other applications of imagery analysis e.g. damage assessment
