Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) is an integrated intelligence and operations function. It is an activity that synchronizes and integrates the planning and operation of sensors and assets (processing, exploitation, and dissemination) in direct support of current and future operations.
ISR assets are integrated systems with capabilities designed to collect, process, and disseminate information necessary to plan and conduct operations. ISR assets cover a wide range of ground and airborne platforms, most of which are considered “low density – high demand,” emphasizing their small numbers and frequent need.
Course Description
Vigilance ISR Academy developed an introduction course (3 days) during which ISR Fundamentals will be explained. Attendants may gain an overview of ISR technologies, sensors and both manned- and unmanned and Space borne platforms.
The capacities of mentioned sensors will also be discussed. During this course, focus will be at the ISR Cycle and the man-in-the-loop, as well as the need for standardization.
Who should attend?
Engineers, Technicians and Managers with (future) ISR related jobs may benefit hugely when joining this course.
What are the benefits?
